This outstanding team of professionals is dedicated to every step of specialty coffee production, from sourcing and buying, to roasting and preparing. A certified B Corp, Passenger fosters relationships with coffee producers all over the world, from family farms of a few hectares to co-ops of thousands, buys directly from the producers and pays an above Fair Trade price regardless of uncontrollable circumstances that might affect the season’s yield. In addition to the blends and single-origins available year-round, Passenger offers a frequently changing selection of single-origin reserve lot coffees, reflecting the seasonal variety and complexity of global specialty coffee.
In addition to coffee, Passenger’s selection of traditional and herbal teas reflect the breathtaking variety of this unique beverage. Like its coffee, Passenger sources its tea from carefully selected farms all over the world. Many of these farms, in legendary tea-growing regions of China, Taiwan, and Japan, are family owned, and have been producing tea for hundreds of years. From familiar and comforting blends like English Breakfast to rare and beautiful Japanese Matcha, Passenger’s teas allow us to experience the depth and complexity of what tea can become.
